Pantothenic
Acid: In an experiment with rats swimming in cold water,
the animals were able to keep swimming much longer in direct
proportion to the Pantothenic Acid given to them. Similarly,
frog muscles soaked in a Pantothenic Acid solution were able
to do twice as much work before giving out. It is a key enzyme
in the energy production pathway of the body. Pantothenic Acid
also increased the lifespans of rats by 20% when given in
doses of 12 mg/kg/day.
Pantothenic Acid was also an
effective weight loss adjunct in a study done in Hong Kong.
Subjects were placed on a 1000 calorie per day diet and given
2500mg of Pantothenic Acid 4 times daily. The subjects lost an
average of 2.5 pounds per week but experienced no hunger or
weakness or other ill effects. After reaching their goal, they
maintained it on 2000 to 3000mg per day.
A large dose
of Pantothenic Acid was also shown to eliminate acne. After 2
or 3 days, subjects found a dramatic decrease in skin oil.
Acne was brought under control in just a few weeks. Even the
worst subjects of severe acne responded to daily doses of 15
to 20 grams a day for 6 months.
Organic
Magnesium Magnesium is an essential and much neglected
mineral. It is needed for bone, protein and fatty acid
formation, making new cells, activating B vitamins, forming
ATP (the body's energy currency,) and enabling insulin
secretion and function. Low levels of Magnesium are associated

acts as a coenzyme during the metabolism of protein, fats, and
carbohydrates. In a sleep study it was shown that Vitamin B12
reduced the amount of time the subjects slept, but the sleep
quality was better and subjects awakened refreshed with better
alertness and concentration. Vitamin B6 is required in amino
acid metabolism, neurotransmitter biosynthesis and collagen
formation.
